Family is the foundation of the U.S. immigration system, and it is where most cases begin. Laurore, PC helps U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents bring relatives to the United States and helps family members already here secure lawful status.

We handle:

Immediate Relative Petitions. For spouses, unmarried children under 21, and parents of U.S. citizens. These categories have no annual visa limit, which means no waiting for a priority date to become current.

Family Preference Petitions. For adult children, married children, and siblings of U.S. citizens, and for spouses and unmarried children of lawful permanent residents. We track priority dates and advise on realistic timelines and category upgrades.

Adjustment of Status. For eligible relatives already in the United States, including work and travel authorization while the application is pending, and preparation for the adjustment interview.

Consular Processing. For relatives abroad, from National Visa Center document review through the immigrant visa interview at the consulate.

Fiancé(e) K-1 Visas. For engaged couples, including the subsequent adjustment of status after marriage.

Removal of Conditions on Residence. Joint petitions and waivers for those who received conditional status through marriage, including cases where the marriage has ended.

Waivers of Inadmissibility. Provisional and standard waivers addressing unlawful presence, certain criminal grounds, fraud or misrepresentation, and other bars, built on documented extreme hardship to qualifying relatives.

Widow(er) Petitions and Petitions Following the Death of the Petitioner. Preserving eligibility when circumstances change.
